…. appreciates President Tinubu for putting a round peg in a round hole
Frontline politician and Public Administrator, Princess (Barr.) Catherine Oladunni Odu says the Ambassadorial posting of Senator Jimoh Ibrahim to the United Nations as Nigeria’s Permanent Representative, is a reflection of President Bola Tinubu’s commitment of putting round pegs in round holes.
In a statement titled “Nigeria’s voice will be heard clearly in international rooms that matter” Princess Odu described Ambassador Jimoh Ibrahim as a man who had over the decades prepared himself for this very important responsibility.
The first female Secretary to Government in Ondo state said “I join the vast majority of Nigerians who are particular about the country’s image abroad, and especially the presence of Nigeria in international rooms that matter to congratulate our great country on Senator Jimoh Ibrahim’s posting as Nigeria’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations”
While describing the diplomatic posting as a testament to the fact that Dr Jimoh Ibrahim is a truly distinguished Nigerian judging by the calibre of people who had occupied that position in the past, Princess Odu said “clearly, Mr President, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, GCFR found you worthy to represent the country in such a huge capacity because of your track record”
She stated that the good people of Ondo South Senatorial District who Dr Ibrahim represented in the Red Chamber of the National Assembly before this appointment are grateful to President Tinubu for finding their son so worthy.
She prayed that as Dr. Ibrahim takes on this merited role, God will abide with him and he will succeed even much more than his predecessors.
