Olori Oyinkansola Aroloye Empowerment initiative Celebrates Ramadan fasting with Muslim faithfuls in Akure ,the ondo state capital at the weekend.
The gesture which attracted muslim brothers and Sisters in Akure North, Akure South and Ifedore local governments areas of the state.
The empowerment program according to the founder of the initiative, Olori Oyinkansola Aroloye , said it aimed at preaching peace and Unity among religious leaders
” We aim at promoting Unity and Love among ourselves in the religious line that we are all one”
‘ Also, to provide for the needy in the society and to join our Muslim brothers and Sisters in the Ramadan fasting” Aroloye said
Meanwhile, the event featured health talk on importance of living a healthy life before ,during and after the Ramadan period.
Doctors and other Health workers examined the participants on blood sugar level, talk show and other aspect of human endeavour medically
The participants were full of enthusiasm after the whole exercise and promise to take to the advice and the lesson learnt at the epoch making event
One of the participants interviewed by our reporter, Hajia Sherifat Amodu said she never knew the convener from anywhere, but was invited by a friend.
Amodu said the gesture was so amazing seeing a Christian Sister empowering Muslim Sisters most especially during ramadan fasting.
‘ Am surprised that the gesture could be this marvelous from a Christian Sister to us, we appreciate her so much
The Special Assistant to the governor of ondo state on Islamic Affairs, Alhaja Sikirat Idera eulogized Olori Aroloye for her uncommon love for all and sundry in the Society
Alhaja Fausat Gidado ,the Iya Adinni Of Akure Kingdom could not hide her joy over the brilliant idea of Olori Aroloye of giving back to the needy with the little on her.
Hon. Olanrewaju Oyelade, SUBEB Commissioner 1 in the state implored other well meaning Nigerians to emulate what Olori Oyinkansola has done to Muslim men & women in the state.
