TINE Africa Changemakers Conference 2026, set to Reimagine Africa’s future through Global Education, will come up on 20th May 2026 at the Victoria Garden Conference & Event Centre in Ikeja, Lagos. It features sessions across three sub-themes – Education & Scholarship, AI & Technology, and the CreativeEconomy, including a nationwide competition for secondary schools and sixth form colleges with over ₦1,000,000 to be won.
The conference will bring over 1,000 emerging leaders, students, educators, entrepreneurs, young professionals, and innovators, together from across the continent for a transformative experience that aims at exploring how global education can transform Africa’s sustainable future.
Organised by Laprinxo Consult as part of the broader TINE Africa platform, the 2026 edition of TINE Africa Changemakers Conference follows a successful 2024 debut that convened 400+ young leaders and innovators in Lagos. And, it advances the focus of TINE Africa Summit 2025 by deliberately shifting the conversation around global education from access to agency, participation to leadership, and dependency to co-creation.
Participation at this conference is completely free and all sessions are carefully curated to deliver excellence under three Sub-Themes:
- Education & Scholarship – exploring access, equity, and innovation in education across the continent, while equipping learners with information on student mobility and agency to thrive and lead globally.
- Artificial Intelligence & Technology – examining the transformative role of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies in shaping Africa’s future, with a focus on innovation ecosystems, digital inclusion, skills development, and ethical considerations.
- Creative Economy – spotlighting Africa’s creative industries (across film, music, fashion, digital arts, and beyond) as engines of economic growth, cultural identity, financial sustainability, and global relevance.
