The Chairman of Chairmen in Ondo state , Hon Dr Olugbenga Donald Fasua has applauded President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR for his concern and efforts made so far in seeing to the release of the kidnapped Teachers and Pupils in Oyo state.
Dr Fasua, who is also the Chairman of Akure South Local government area of the state ,in a statement made available on saturday evening on behalf of other local government chairmen in the state appreciated the gallant officers of the Nigerian Army, the Combatant Police Officers , the Department of State Services DSS, Civil Defence Officers, the Air Force, the Navy, Vigilantes , Amotekun Officers and other non state actors who participated actively in the rescue mission.
He also salutes the courage of Oyo state governor, Engr Seyi Makinde for his vigour during the rescue operation.
The Council boss therefore, rejoice with the families of the rescued victims and prayed God to console the families of the departed souls who at one point or the other lost their loved ones.
” I rejoice with the kids and their parents over the rescue operation that left no tears on our faces but rather joyful celebration”
