AAUA-ASUU STRIKE UPDATE
Sequel to the ongoing industrial action embarked upon by the Academic Staff Union of the University for over two weeks seems not ending so soon as the state government turns away ears and eyes away from their plights
Information at Germane Reporters disposal indicated that, meetings have been held by the school’s Chapter of ASUU ended in dead lock with the Management and by extension to the state government
Following the meeting held earlier today, 22nd July, 2026, regarding the ongoing AAUA-ASUU strike,
The meeting did not produce a resolution capable of ending the industrial action. Consequently, the strike remains in effect.
