
An Industrial Court sitting in Abuja has ordered immediate vacation of Ondo State Council Chairman of the National Union Of Road Transport Workers NURTW ,Ademola Odudu from office or face the contempt of court .
Following the Judgement delivered on the 6th March ,2026 at the Court of Appeal sitting in Abuja where Alhaji Najeem Yasin and Alhaji Badaru Agbede were asked and ordered by the Court to vacate the positions and declared their offices illegal.
In a suit filed at the National Industrial Court by the duo of Alhaji Najeem Yasin and Alhaji Badaru Agbede of case file NICN/ABJ/263/2023 were declared void with various orders of the court made against them and their privies.
The Initial decision of the Industrial Court went unsatisfied with the defendants , Alhaji Najeem Yasin and Alhaji Badaru Agbede with other parties , filed an appeal with No CA/ABJ/CV/293/2024 to appeal the judgement.


Moreover, on 8th November,2024, the Appeal Court dismissed the appeal brought before it by the defendants and proceeded to affirm the decision of the National Industrial Court.
The decision of the Courts have therefore affirmed repeatedly the authenticity and legal status of Tajudeen Ibikunle Baruwa as the Chairman of NURTW ,thereby nolifies all acts of Alhaji Najeem Usman Yasin and their co- travellers, have been rendered void and that any act relating to NURTW executed by them or appointees become illegal and criminal being contempt of Court.

However, all proxies and privies of Alhaji Najeem Usman Yasin and Alhaji Badaru Agbede including the caretaker committee of the NURTW for various states ,Constituted by the defendants, ondo state inclusive ,are therefore declared illegal and void
Base on this, Mr Oluwatoyin Olaoye and Eleven others who were duly and validly appointed with a letter dated 15th July, 2026 by Tajudeen Ibikunle Baruwa, as the Caretaker Chairman of the Ondo state National Union Of Road Transport Workers NURTW
