The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress in Ondo State, Hon Kolawole Babatunde has applauded the governor of the state, Hon Dr Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa for his genuine reconciliation efforts in uniting all aggrieved party members back to the fold.
Kolawole,in a statement issued on Wednesday, through the office of the publicity Secretary of the party, said the efforts is yielding positive results.
He said , the coming together of all party members will give a landslide victory to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the coming election,which he said ,the power in oneness cannot be overlooked.
” I personally want to appreciate the people’s governor,Hon Dr Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa for his efforts in uniting everybody in the party for a landslide victory for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu”
“Our coming together as a team will surely speak volume and make the existing love last longer than ever imagined” Kolawole said
However, the Chairman also used the occasion at the Cocoa Conference Hall of the governor’s office appreciate the party Elders who contributed in no small measure adding their wealth of experience to the success of the reconciliation meeting and efforts to take the party to victory in the coming election.
It would be recalled that the Chairman of the APC Elders Council, Senator Olorunnimbe Farunkanmi, in the meeting also called for unity among party members to support the governor and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Farunkanmi, who described the meeting as an important opportunity for leaders and members from the three senatorial districts to reconnect and deliberate on the progress of the party, where he urged members to avoid misunderstanding, describing Aiyedatiwa as an open minded leader who had reached out to him on issues concerning cooperation among party leaders and members
