As the tempo of activities geared towards ensuring that President Bola Tinubu continues his national transformation works beyond 2027 increase all over the country, a Former Minster of State for Transport, Sir (Prince) Ademola Adegoroye has emphasized that Ondo state must take the lead in showcasing the President’s achievements because of his interest in the growth and development of the state.
Adegoroye who was addressing newsmen after a meeting of the Tinubu Support Group in Akure said all is set for the unveiling of the Ondo State Chapter of TSG.
Adegoroye assured that TSG is structured to be a rallying point for all the organizations working for the President’s re-election using the instrumentality of grassroots mobilization, which has been the strength of Asiwaju Tinubu’s political journey.
“The primary objective of Tinubu Support Group, TSG is to further make people understand the intentions of the ongoing reforms which essentially will restore the economy and social well-being of Nigeria. Every lover of Nigeria should therefore be part of that move for the present and the future glory of the country”
He expressed confidence that through the activities of the TSG, the All Progressives Congress will be further united, and work conscientiously as a team with one focus, one strategy and one goal; the President’s re-election
The former Minister who described the people of Ondo state as the most politically educated citizens of Nigeria said the time is now for all to know that Ondo State still has the steam of being the political hub of Nigeria as exemplified by the great political events of the 60s up till the 80s when democracy was truncated adding that even during the military era, the state led the crusade for restoration of democracy.
He announced that Governor Lucky Ayedatiwa has been nominated as Grand Patron of the TSG, and members are confident that he will accept nomination because of his passion for the re-election of President Tinubu.
“The meeting we just concluded took far reaching decisions including the selection of date for inauguration and the choice of His Excellency Lucky Ayedatiwa as Grand Patron because his passion for Tinubu’s re-election is overwhelming. We believe that he sees into the future, especially concerning the great things that will come to Ondo State with Tinubu as President till 2031.
“At TSG we believe in Governor Ayedatiwa’s leadership of APC, we salute his methodical approach to governance which clearly has the theme “one success at a time, eloquently delivered everytime”, and we are sure that with his support and guidance as our grand patron, the goal of our group will be achieved resoundingly.
Adegoroye added that the TSG will work with all the major political gladiators in the state because of their experience in politics and development which will be very valuable as the group goes on with its project.
The former Minister while commending the people of Ondo state for standing with Asiwaju Tinubu in the 2023 presidential election thanked them for still standing by him, and resolving to vote massively for him in 2027
