The leadership and members of the Ògo Àkúré Mandate Group proudly announce that Ayodeji DF Oluleye—public health professional, entrepreneur, philanthropist, and foremost advocate for development in Akure Kingdom—has been nominated for the Distinguished Alumnus Award for Excellence by the Akure Chapter of the Adekunle Ajasin University Alumni Association.
Ayodeji Oluleye, a proud 2007 alumnus of the prestigious University, served in various leadership capacities during his student years, including General Secretary of the Student Union Government and several other notable positions. He graduated with honours in Industrial Chemistry and has continued to exemplify the values of leadership and service.
In an official letter dated 8th December 2025, the Association described Ayodeji Oluleye as “a man of excellence,” whose professional accomplishments, leadership trajectory, and unwavering commitment to societal development distinguish him among many.
The nomination recognizes his remarkable contributions to public health, environmental management, nation-building, youth empowerment, community development, and steadfast support for alumni initiatives.
The award will be formally conferred during the 2025 Alumni End-of-Year Celebration and Merit Awards scheduled for 26th December 2025 at the NUJ Centre, behind Adegbemile Cultural Centre, Akure, Ondo State.
Ayodeji DF Oluleye—Founder of the Ògo Àkúré Mandate Group—has established himself as one of Nigeria’s leading voices in pest management, environmental health, and public sanitation through his company, Dfortune Pest Solutions Ltd.
He currently serves as the National General Secretary of the Pest Control Association of Nigeria (PECAN) and is the Founder of the Global Pest Management Conference, Africa’s premier international public-health pest control event held annually in Lagos.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Ayodeji is the Founder of the Ayodeji Oluleye Foundation, which continues to impact lives across Akure and Nigeria through school empowerment initiatives, scholarships, youth mentorship, public sanitation campaigns, community interventions, and other philanthropic programs.
This award comes at a defining moment—following his recent public declaration to contest for the Federal House of Representatives (Akure North/South Federal Constituency) in the 2027 elections.
The recognition strengthens public confidence in his leadership capacity, integrity, and readiness to deliver quality, people-centered representation rooted in excellence.
