As part of activities marking his First year anniversary in office, Governor Lucky Aiyedawa has inaugurated several roads and water project.
The governor said the roads being commissioned and flagged off across the state include Dare Ajayi Road, Plaza Road, SITA-Government House Road, Oke-Eda Road, CBN-Bishop’s Court Road, Ajipowo Roads, Afunbiowo Estate Roads, and FUTA South Gate Road.
Speaking during the commissioning of Igoba and SIB roads, Aiyedatiwa said the Alagbaka Road Project forms part of the deliberate and systematic implementation of the state’s infrastructure development programme, aimed at expanding road networks, decongesting high-traffic corridors, and enhancing access to public institutions, residential areas, and commercial hubs within the state capital.
The five kilometre road in Igoba, Akure North Local Government area of the state, has been completed and commissioned.
Aiyedatiwa advised the people of the area ,to make judicious of the road and promised to attend to the epileptic power supply of the area in no distance time
While appreciating the Governor, on behalf of the people of the community, His Royal Highness ,Oba Adeniyi Adinlewa , appreciated the governor for attending to the plight of the people over the long abandoned road that has caused great damaged to the people and the economy of the area.
He therefore promised that, the road will be used Judiciously and well maintained
The governor later commissioned water scheme at the Federal University Of Technology Akure teaching hospital
