The Special Adviser on Health to the Governor of Ondo State, Professor Simidele Odimayo, has warmly congratulated Senator (Dr.) Jimoh Ibrahim on his recent appointment as Nigeria’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations by the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Professor Odimayo described the appointment as well-deserved, noting that Senator Ibrahim’s wealth of experience in public service, academia, diplomacy, and business makes him eminently qualified to represent Nigeria on the global stage.
According to Odimayo, the appointment is not only a recognition of Senator Ibrahim’s outstanding contributions to national development, but also a moment of pride for the people of Ondo State, particularly the Ikale nation of Ondo South Senatorial District.
“As a fellow Ikale son from Ondo South, I am deeply proud of this significant milestone in the life of Senator Jimoh Ibrahim. His appointment to such a prestigious international role reflects the excellence, intellect, and leadership capacity that our people are known for,” Odimayo stated.
The Special Adviser further expressed confidence that Senator Ibrahim would bring his vast knowledge, global exposure, and passion for national development to bear in advancing Nigeria’s interests and strengthening the country’s voice within the international community.
