The Ayodeji Oluleye Foundation in collaboration with the Ògo Àkúré Mandate Group has announced the organization of a large-scale Free Easter Medical Outreach 2026 aimed at providing essential healthcare services to residents of Akure North and Akure South.
The humanitarian initiative, convened by Ayodeji Oluleye, a leading House of Representatives aspirant for Akure North and South Federal Constituency, is part of activities marking his birthday celebration and is also aligned with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, with a focus on improving access to quality healthcare at the grassroots level.
The outreach is scheduled to hold as follows:
Event: Free Easter Medical Outreach 2026
Date: Friday, April 3rd, 2026 (Easter Friday)
Time: 9:00 AM Prompt
Venue: Imafon Community High School Field, Igbatoro Road, Akure
The programme is expected to benefit over 1,000 residents and will provide a wide range of free medical services, including eye screening and distribution of prescription glasses, diabetes screening and treatment, blood pressure checks with hypertension support, dental care, medical consultations, counseling, and free prescribed medications.
In addition, mosquito insecticides and rodenticides will be distributed to help curb malaria and Lassa fever within the community.
Speaking ahead of the event, Ayodeji Oluleye emphasized the importance of accessible healthcare, noting that quality health services should not be a privilege but a basic right for all citizens. He reiterated his commitment to community development and people-centered initiatives that directly impact lives.
This outreach is expected to attract community leaders, traditional rulers, religious leaders, and residents across the constituency, further strengthening collective efforts toward building healthier and more resilient communities.
