Bye Bye to “Rederede”…

For generations, the riverine communities of Ilaje and Ese-Odo LGAs lived with the familiar sight of fragile wooden jetties and makeshift walkways—popularly called ” Atipa” in Ilaje and “Agbada” in Ese-Odo

Today, that era is gradually fading into history.

With Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa at the helm, concrete has replaced timber, permanence has replaced improvisation, and safety has replaced uncertainty.

Across these riverine communities, homes, schools, health centres and other public buildings are now being linked by durable concrete walkboards, bringing renewed dignity, easier mobility and improved quality of life to the people.

This is more than infrastructure. It is the bridge between neglect and development, between yesterday’s challenges and tomorrow’s possibilities.

Despite the difficult terrain, Dolban Technical Nigeria Ltd. successfully delivered the 1,000-metre concrete walkway at Obe-Nla, demonstrating professionalism, resilience, and engineering excellence.

Indeed, it is goodbye to Rederede and welcome to a new era of sustainable development in Ondo State.

My wish is just to see this goes round..
