The Inter Party Advisory Council (IPAC) congratulates the All Progressives Congress (APC) and it’s Candidate Professor Dayo Faduyile on their victory in the just-concluded Ondo State bye-election.
The victory is not only for the APC but for Democracy as the election was free, credible and fair enough to be adjudged a fraleat contest
In similar vein, IPAC congratulates all Political Parties that participated in the just concluded Bye election for demonstrating maturity before during and after the election and abiding with the declaration by INEC
We also want to commend all Security agencies, the Press and every election stakeholders for doing their best in protecting the sanctity of Democracy
We also want to commend all Political Party members across board that came out to exercise their constututional duties despite all challenges. Although there is voter apathy which is not unconnected with the current economic situation, insecurity and poverty of mind that is sweeping through the fabrics of our society and on this note we want to charges agencies like the National Orientation Agency (NOA) and every other relevant agencies to please put more effort in their sensitisation programs so the citizens can be more aquinted with their roles and responsibilities in the society
Finally, we want to congratulate ONDO INEC for yet another feat even as we charge them to always make sure all election gadgets are duely certified before delporing them to field to avoid issues like BIVAS failure that were reported in some of the polling booths
We wish the winner Professor Dayo Faduyile and The All Progressive Congress (APC) a very robust representation at the Senate and we also charge them to be magnanimous in victory by ensuring that the whole Senatorial District and not only APC members is well represented at the Red Chamber
