It is a known fact that, Ondo State Micro Credit Agency has a mandate in supporting the Artisans, Market Women and other business owners in the state through loan application by the would -be beneficiaries to boast their hustles and repay the loan at an agreed period of time with very low interest rates.
However, the agency is saddled with the responsibility of supporting the efforts of the state government in alleviating the sufferings of the masses irrespective of their status : Religion, tribe, Nationality and what have you.
Making this mandate a reality, I am determined to work tirelessly with other members of staff, improve their welfare, give them time to time encouragement, since they are the life wire of the agency in making the job a reality
Also, it has been observed that the then beneficiaries of the agency have decided to be head-bent in repaying their debts despite all Pleads and notifications sent to them , forgotten that ,the agency is not a charity home but to rather to assist and keep them in business line that can change their misfortune to prosperity.
The defaulters should note that, their failure to refund the loan has affected the ‘would-be’ beneficiaries who are ready to abide by the laid down rules of the agency.
Moreso, we remain resolute in making strong determination and decision to recover the money owned the agency by the defaulters ,no matter highly placed they might be.
Efforts are on top gear digitalizing the agency’s activities, most especially, for any one intending to apply for loan.
Training and retraining of staff is my priority and provision of tools necessary for effective operation both in the cities and in our remote communities across the local government areas of the state.
We are fully in support of the giant strides of Gov Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa in reducing the poverty level in Ondo State by supporting the Artisans, Market Women & men and other business owners in the state through the disbursement of loan with very low interest to all , for a better society.
Base on this “our ease” agenda, the agency, more than ever before, with the collaborative efforts of the staff , has decided to sensitize our people through radio ,Television and other Social Media Means, Online News Platforms, urging the defaulters to repay, without wasting time and for people to apply for loan, thereby changing their status for better economically.
Olori Oyinkansola Aroloye, therefore, concluded that,the business in the agency will no longer be as usual.
All defaulters should be ready to face the full wrath of the law as all hands are on deck to take anyone found culpable to Court.
