The National Board for Technical Education has recently announced its decision to gradually phase out Higher National Diploma (HND) Computer Science programmes in public Polytechnics and monotechnics across Nigeria.
With this , the HND Computer Science Programme will no longer accept new admissions starting from the 2024/25 academic session, the Board has said.
The Board also said the grace period issued is to enable concerned institutions to graduate students who were admitted under the old curricula.
The announcement was made in a letter signed by the Board’s Executive Secretary, Idris Bugaje, on Monday
