The governor of Ondo State, Hon Lucky Aiyedatiwa may return to the state on Monday as all efforts made by him to see the president since Thursday proved abortive.
Aiyedatiwa who traveled with 13 members of the state House Of Assembly since Thursday in a bid to see Mr President on his ambition has been proven abortive.
However, the governor had initially traveled to Abuja few days before his declaration to see Asiwaju Bola Tinubu over his intention to contest the governorship election coming up later in the year, still his efforts hits the rock.
Presidential source who confirmed not to be mentioned said Aiyedatiwa has been pleading with the Aso rock kitchen cabinet of the president, to arrange a meeting for him with the president but all to no avail.
Moreso, the house of assembly members who traveled with the governor to Abuja, will be returning on Monday so as to continue with the legislative work of the House on Tuesday since there is plenary on Tuesday.
It was speculated last week that the governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa promised the assembly members $10 thousand dollars each if they could follow him to Abuja to see Mr President.
Our source said that, the President is trying not to have hands in the forthcoming primary election of the party in the state coming up on 25th, April, 2024.
