The Omoluabi Coalition group (OCG) in a world press conference held on Wednesday at the press centre in Akure, the Ondo State capital declared its support and endorsed the popular aspirant, Chief Olusola Oke as the flag bearer of the All Progressives Congress APC in the forth coming gubernatorial election.
The Director General of the group, Comrade Tunji Balogun, said that the race to Alagbaka, the government house should be exposed to an experienced and grassroot politician like Chief Olusola Alexander Oke.
The group said further that the governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa chooses wrongly by declaring his intention openly on 27th December, 2023, at the cocoa conference hall at the governor’s office when he greeted everyone that ” a ku Orire o” meaning Congratulations a day after the demise of his boss.
He also said that the governor could not hide his desperate mood even before his late boss was laid to rest, meaning that he has no empathy.
Moreso, the DG said that alot are rolling on the neck of the governor which requires he clears himself from all allegations levied against him so as not to plunge the state into pre and post election chaos
While analysing the major aspirants one after the other, the group submitted to put their weight behind Chief Olusola Oke, having critically scrutinizing the antecedents of the aspirants.
The DG said the party Ticket should be given to the person who has no questionable character and who has always been a grassroot individual.
He said the ticket should be given to someone who can manage the business of the state properly not the one
They therefore urged the party at the national level to give the state a candidate that has no blemish and as well that can win the election landslide.
