The Lagos Police Command on Friday says it has uncovered a den of kidnappers in the Ikorodu area of Lagos State.
Sighting operatives of the Lagos State Police Command at their den, the kidnappers reportedly opened fire on Thursday night.
During the gun battle, one of the criminals was gunned down.
Police said three kidnap victims were rescued.
The Spokesperson of the Lagos State Police Command, Benjamin Hundeyin said arms and ammunition were recovered at the scene, adding that the victims were receiving treatment at an undisclosed hospital.
