
Commissioner for works and infrastructure in ondo state, Engr Aminu Raimi has assured the people of the state , most especially the residents of Akure, the state capital that the government is embarking on a project that will be a landmark and as well, will serve the interest of the masses in reducing road crashes along the high way.
Aminu who made the assurance at a programme organized by the ondo state radiovision corporation OSRC tagged “Roundtable “a platform that enables top government officials showcase their stewardship to the people of the state.
The commissioner said that the flyover will be superb thereby soliciting for the supports of the people in making the project a reality in no distance time.
The flyover is to be constructed along Araromi-Onyearugbulem linking up to shagari axis in reducing the rate of accident and crashes along the Federal high way within Akure metropolis. He said that similar construction will also be constructed along Akure -Ilesa road popularly known as road block to ease traffic congestion in the area.
The commissioner emphasized on the fact that the government has done tremendously in infrastructural development compare to previous administrations in the state.
He said further that all projects will be completed before the expiration of Akeresolu’s tenure in less than two years time.
Meanwhile, the chairman of OSRC media group, Mr Kunle Adebayo appreciated the commissioner for his time to tell the people of the state how far the present administration has gone in attending to the yarning of the people in the area of road construction and other infrastructural development.
Kunle Adebayo on behalf of the station management thanked the state government for attending to some of the requests of the station and as well, to expedite actions in bringing to a conclusion, the remaining touches.
