The commander of the ondo state security network agency code named AMOTEKUN , Adetunji Adeleye has suggested that the solution to the incessant insecurity in the country is the introduction of the state police.
He made the hint while parading no fewer than thirty one (31) suspected kidnappers from the 18 LG areas of the state.
The commander , while addressing newsmen on Wednesday at the headquarters of the corps, in Akure, the state capital said that the, the only panacea to the security unrest in the country is to give birth to the state police which will go deep into the locals of the communities.
He also emphasized that the governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa has ordered that the corps should make sure the last person behind in criminality is apprehended.
ADELEYE therefore assured the people of the state to go about their lawful businesses and urged the citizens to quickly provide information that will help the security agencies in the state to get to scene of the incident on time.
He also said that over 100 personnel of the corps have been posted to Ekiti State to help in getting down those kidnappers.
While fielding questions from journalists on the situation of things, he said the governor has directed that the busses conveying pupils are protected.
He said all Ondo State boundaries except Edo state is really giving the corps a serious concern.
He therefore advised the people to be weary of the kind of commercial vehicle and motorbikes they board
