
All workers of the University Of Medical Sciences Teaching Hospital in Ondo City, Ondo state barricaded all roads leading into the Teaching Hospital at the early hour of Friday base on the inability of the authority to implement their salary structure and that the Health Institution left them in the hands of Hospital Management Board.
However,one of the staff,Mrs Olaniyi said the transfer of services for over five years have not been done upon all efforts made by the staff.
Another staff, Toyin said all departments of the institution ,nurses, Doctors, Physiotherapists and non clinical staff were seeing carry various inscriptions like ,
Unimed give us our money
We are dying
We are bleeding and the rest
However, all vehicular movement into the institution was at a stand still .
The protest was though a peaceful one but all activities was on a lockdown.
According to one of the staff who did not want his name mentioned said the protest will continue as long as the authority fails to yield to their request.
Those inside the Health institution could not have their way out and as well , those just coming in could not get into their offices

Meanwhile all efforts reaching the Chief Medical Director CMD proved abortive.
It was alleged that some of the top officers of the medical institution have received their benefits and care less about others
