One of Nigeria’s foremost businessmen and leading investor, Senator (Dr) Jimoh Folorunso Ibrahim has commended Muslims for their commitment to national progress through prayers.
In his Eid el fitri message, Dr Ibrahim particularly appreciated Muslims in Ondo state for their commitment to the ideals that make society prosperous, with specific, especially by living in harmony with people of other religions, and generally obeying the instructions of the holy Prophet Mohammed.
Senator Ibrahim noted that this year’s Eid el fitri could not have come at a more strategic time than the crucial period of the build-up to the primaries of political parties in the state.
He urged Muslims and people in the state generally to be more fervent in their prayers for the stability and economic prosperity of the state, stressing that the governorship election should not only be peaceful but produce a new leader for the state who has capacity to deliberately lift the state to a strategic next level of development.
Ibrahim who is an aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress implored fellow aspirants across the various political parties to embrace the teachings of Prophet Mohammed on peaceful conduct, sacrifice, honestly and integrity
