The men of Ondo State Security network agency code named AMOTEKUN has arrested a serial rapist, who raped a 23 year old lady at Ilaje area of the state.
While briefing newsmen in Akure, the Ondo State capital on Wednesday, the corps commander, Adetunji Adeleye explained that, the rapist, Moshood Kazeem, and his gang trailed a 23 year old lady, who just alerted from a bus and pushed her to an uncompleted building, she was robbed of her phone, her money was taken later raped and maligned
However, the lady, name withheld could identified one of them, Moshood Kazeem and reported the case at Amotekun office in the area where the suspects were placed on survallance.
The lady according to the commander, Adeleye, said his men went to a popular joint where they do plan their nefarious activities, getting there the men ran away sighting the corps officers
He said further that the men were later attacked during the process of arresting the suspects where four of the Amotekun men were tied, shot severally before they were all apprehended.
While narrating her ordeal, the lady said she was mercilessly beaten and raped only by Kazeem which the suspect confessed to the crime.
The commander therefore urged the youths to desist from all forms of criminalities that could land them in trouble.
He concluded that, the suspects, seven in number will be taken to court for necessary action.
