It was like a drama at the state headquarters of the Nigerian police force,ondo command, Igbatoro road, Akure, on Friday when an herbalist. Quardri Lawal, a 35 year old and his cohorts confessed to a crime , that he cut off a deceased head into two , one part for his colleague, and kept the other for ritual purposes.
According to him ” I was going in the bush as an hunter, I saw the dead body of a woman which I informed Oluawo about it “
Oluawo pleaded I should cut some parts and bring for him and I did ” he said
“I only cut part of the head, I kept one in my house and give the other part to Oluawo who intentionally requested for the other”
However, while responding to questions posed to him by Germane Reporters’ correspondent on the usefulness of the human part ,the herbalist , Laval, said, they use it and turn it to black soap for people, for different purposes mainly for money making.
“we cut human parts on demand by some people and we use for black soap making “
Also, four kidnappers were arrested at Ofosu area of the state where people were kidnapped in a church during service and later escaped from their abductors after taking hard drugs and slept off.
While addressing Journalists on the issue, the Commissioner of Police in the state, Abayomi Peter Oladapo said the all the suspects would be taken to court after preliminary investigation has been concluded.
The Police therefore urged the members of the public to be alert and be security conscious in all their dealings.
