… Asks Journalists to focus on developmental aspects of their job
The Ondo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has lauded the re-election of Mr. Adeleke Adegbite, Chairman of the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ) in the State.
The party described Adegbite as a versatile journalist with enviable exposure and administrative experience.
“The renewal of the mandate is a testament to your popularity and exploits in the first term. We have no doubts that you will do more for the State chapter,” the statement added.
Ondo APC commended media practitioners in the State for displaying maturity and promoting peaceful coexistence among residents.
It appeals for sustained adherence to the ethics of the noble profession and give considerable focus to developmental aspects of their job.
The ruling party also called for sustained understanding and support for the current administration to ensure greater strides in development transformation.
The party urged the re-elected chairman to ensure that the welfare of the pen pushers is given deserving attention by all concerned.
