Like play, like play, electorates are being remembered of their civic responsibilities by the politicians ahead of 2027 as another electoral year is fast approaching.
No wonder the National Assembly proposed a bill forcing Nigerians to vote for them else, a fine of six months imprisonment with a financial fine of #100.000 or both.
Knowing fully well that Nigerians are not pleased with their styles of governance and the room of poverty they lock everyone
However, Some of the serving Senators and House of Representative members are not qualified to be re-elected while some intending aspirants do not have the pedigree to be called “Honourable or Senator “as a result of their antecedents.
It is a known fact, that some elected Politicians don’t deserve a single vote again from the electorates who queued in the sun for them but got them disappointed at the end of the day
Moreso, Many of the politicians who are fond of not picking calls will start navigating their ways into the minds of the electorates that they have neglected so long.
Also,tokens,gifts items and unreliable promises will start coming from these intending flag bearers.
Unfortunately,most of the vulnerable/ gullible electorates fall so cheap into the hands of these people probably as a result of the level of poverty or hunger in the land that was caused by the leaders in the past
The question is how long shall these continue in our father’s land where people suffer in the midst of plenty?
Are there no enough sensitization for the electorates to make them desist from these acts of not seeing beyond their noses in times like this?
It is time to retrace our steps and stand for the truth so as to chase away all these wicked and good for nothing “Ojelu “who call themselves “Oloselu”
It’s time to Say NO to their tricks and let’s move our fatherland forward by voting our conscience and not our pockets
