Global Pest Management Conference, convened by Comr. Ayodeji DF. Oluleye, founder and CEO of DFORTUNE and Pestshop.ng, was held at the prestigious Marriott Hotel, Lagos, bringing together hundreds of participants, stakeholders, and global delegates.
In a special highlight of the conference, Mr. Seyi Tinubu, alongside his wife Mrs. Layal Tinubu, was honoured with the 2025 Public Health and Community Impact Award. The recognition also extended to their philanthropic arm, the Noella Foundation, for its impactful work in transforming lives, particularly women and children in underserved communities across Nigeria.
Speaking at the event, Comr. Oluleye commended the Noella Foundation’s dedication to advancing social impact initiatives, noting that its programs align with broader goals of public health, empowerment, and sustainable community development.
“Recognising leaders who go beyond business and politics to touch lives is vital. Mr. Seyi Tinubu, Mrs. Layal Tinubu, and the Noella Foundation embody the spirit of service, compassion, and innovation that this award represents,” Oluleye stated.
The award presentation added to the success of the 2025 Global Pest Management Conference, whose theme was “Advancing Public Health through Sustainable Pest and Vector Control Practices.” Plans are already underway for the 2026 edition, which will further expand the focus to agriculture, food safety, and environmental sustainability, with participants expected from across Africa and beyond.
