The Convener of the Global Pest Management Conference (PMC) 2026 and Founder/Chief Executive Officer of DFORTUNE Pest Solutions Ltd., Pco. Ayodeji Fortune Oluleye (Ògo Àkúré), has announced plans for what is expected to be one of Africa’s foremost gatherings of professionals in pest management, public health, food security, biosecurity and environmental sustainability.
Scheduled to hold on 23–24 July 2026 at the Lagos Marriott Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos, the conference will bring together policymakers, government officials, regulators, researchers, academics, manufacturers, development partners, public health experts and industry professionals from Nigeria and across the globe.
As part of the programme, His Excellency, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, Executive Governor of Lagos State, is expected to serve as Chairman and Special Guest of Honour and officially declare the Global Pest Management Conference (PMC) 2026 open.
The conference will also feature Nigeria’s Honourable Minister of Interior, Hon. Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, as the National Keynote Speaker, delivering a keynote address on:
“Transboundary Disease Prevention and Biosecurity Preparedness: The Critical Role of Pest and Vector Control in National Security.”
Other distinguished keynote speakers include:

Speaking ahead of the conference, Ayodeji Oluleye described PMC 2026 as a strategic platform for strengthening collaboration among governments, industry leaders, researchers and development partners in addressing Africa’s evolving pest management, biosecurity and public health challenges.
