The Executive Chairman of Akure South Local Government, Hon. Dr. Fasua Gbenga Timothy, has extended his warmest congratulations to the renowned academic, elder statesman, and distinguished son of Akure Kingdom, Prof. Williams Olusola Olu-Aderounmu, on the occasion of his 80th birthday.
Describing the octogenarian as a living icon whose life has been marked by excellence, integrity, selfless service, and remarkable contributions to education and national development, Hon. Dr. Fasua noted that Prof. Olu-Aderounmu’s legacy continues to inspire generations of scholars, leaders, and young professionals within and beyond Ondo State.
The Chairman commended the celebrant for his unwavering commitment to intellectual advancement, community service, and the promotion of values that have brought honour and pride to Akure Kingdom. He described Prof. Olu-Aderounmu as one of the shining lights whose achievements have positively projected the image of Akure on the national and international stage.
“As you celebrate this significant milestone of 80 fruitful years, we thank Almighty God for a life of purpose, wisdom, and impactful service. Your exemplary leadership, humility, and dedication remain worthy of emulation,” the Chairman stated.
