
one of the leading aspirants of the All Progressives Congress APC in the forthcoming primary election, Hon D.I Kekemeke has said that the state needs a leader that has vision for the people not a road side person.
Kekemeke made this known during a media parley at the NUJ press centre in Akure, the state capital on Tuesday, that the people have suffered so much in the hands of the vision less individuals.
” our state needs a visionary leader that will bring a better change not just a road side person that has nothing to offer the good people of the state “
“it is obvious that our state is politically challenged and is thus frequently in the news zone for wrong reasons, the ship of the state faces a tough whirlwind and needs an experienced captain thoroughly schooled in party administration and governance” he said
Kekemeke, said he has prepared his agenda and blue prints on how to move the state forward if elected to fly the party ticket on the 20th of April, 2024.
On the issue of Agriculture, he promised to provide security for the farmers so as to encourage them in making food more abundance .
The former lawmaker said he is determined to wage a great war against hunger, poverty, unemployment, insecurity and decayed basic infrastructure in the state.
” my objective was to fully deploy the entire governmental power to wage war against, hunger, poverty and unemployment ” Kekemeke said.
