The Special Adviser on Health to Ondo state Governor and Ondo South Senatorial aspirant, Prof Simidele Odimayo (PSO) has extended his warmest wishes to all women on this special day.
He acknowledged the invaluable contributions of women to the socio-economic development of the state and reaffirms that the administration of His Excellency Gov (Dr) Lucky Orimisan is committed to empowering women and their welfare.
In line with this year’s theme: ‘Give to Gain’,
Prof Odimayo has emphasized the importance of protecting women’s rights and promoting gender equality. He said the economic empowerment of women must be prioritized at all levels, having recognized their impact on families and communities.
According to Prof Odimayo, as we celebrate international women’s day, let us recognize the tireless efforts of women in building a stronger, more inclusive society. Women are the bedrock of the society serving as nurturing caregivers, essential economic contributors and transformative leaders who drive development and foster peace.
The Ondo South Senatorial aspirant, Prof Simidele Odimayo has reiterated his commitment to support women at all levels. He has promised to support Initiatives that will trigger their advancement. He said Nigerian women drives development, hence the need to support them. Nigerian women are resilient and committed to whatever they are, given.
The Health Advisor to Ondo state Governor, Prof Odimayo has encouraged women to key into various out of pocket health insurance programs of His Excellency Gov (Dr) Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa. Women’s healthcare delivery and wellbeing are integral part of OUR EASE agenda.
